Apple has unveiled its widely-anticipated 7.9in (20.1cm) tablet, the iPad Mini.
The device, which is 7.2mm (0.3in) thick and weighs 0.68lbs (0.3kg), was announced at an event in California.
The entry wi-fi-only model, with 16GB storage, will cost £269 in the UK and be available on 2 November.
They are having a laugh. ::)

7inches in a tablet is pointless. Just get a bloody phone at that point.
-
Yes, they're obviously trying to hit a half way mark, but it's pointless. Might as well get a Galaxy S3 - it's almost the same size.

I've had a Galaxy SIII for about three months and can wholeheartedly recommend them. You can use it to make phone calls as well. Not on my phone, obviously, but on one you've bought yourself. Ok, I suppose you could use mine then, if you asked nicely. A mate came round with his the other night. They certainly look nice, although, I think I'd have preferred them to be slightly heavier. He couldn't get t'internet working outside of a wifi spot. Neither could I. :red:
