Title: Evesham 3000 Blue Beast
Post by: dj92 on January 14, 2013, 15:26
I got an Evesham 300 Blue Beast PC  a few days ago.
It has 3 GHz processor with 512 Ram DVD RW and ROM drives with an MSI motherboard.
I saw it working but the guy wanted to take out the HDD for 'security reasons'.
I have the original OS installation discs he supplied me with plus a recovery disc.

My problem...It will not boot up no matter what I try.
I have put in the disc and set bios to boot from drive but to no avail.
No matter what I try it will not boot up.

Any ideas please guys as it is doing my head in.
Any questions I will answer to help you find out what is wrong with this PC.

a couple things to try until someone better than me comes along

Recheck the bios

make sure the hard drive is good

make sure its booting from the disc and not hard drive

Are you getting any POST beeps when it tries to boot up?  Also, check that the memory stick(s), graphics card, etc, are secure, as something may have been dislodged when the hard drive was removed.
