The world first web page has been put back online by the folks at CERN, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the World Wide Web. Originally posted on April 30, 1993.

Exactly!  And I used to use bulletin boards prior to that.   ::)

You probably knew Rik before any of us did!  He was an admin on the Compuserve boards at one time.

I only used Starbase 1 but the Compuserve boards were very popular.  8-)
