Two computer viruses that collaborate are proving hard to clean from infected PCs, Microsoft research suggests.  The pair of viruses foil removal by regularly downloading updated versions of their malware partner.

Yes,  a worrying development.  I noticed that my antivirus disabled autorun yesterday, probably in response to this threat.

Apparently it uses autorun to launch from USB sticks etc and users are advised to disable it.   :dunno:

Ah, sorry, I misread that and thought you said your antivirus was disabled from automatically running.
