Tommy Ramone, the drummer and last surviving original member of influential US punk band The Ramones, has died aged 65, the group announces.

As I didn't like Punk bands I have never heard of them. Thought for the day, how did the group announce it if they are all dead?

All of the original group are dead.  I guess they got replacements as they went along.  Like the Beatles did with Paul McCartney.  ;D
