Mike Browne (who is well known in photography circles) is running a series of weekly photography competitions whilst we are in lockdown due to Covid-19. It's all being conducted on his YouTube channel.
I didn't win this week's competition but, considering there are about 2,500 participants, I was delighted to make the final cut of the top 40. I've attached a screen shot of the announcement (my photo is circled in red) and I've also attached a copy of my successful shot, which is the inside of a tulip.

Thanks, guys. We were given an unusual brief for the competition - simply "The Colours Of Life". Those who were successful twigged that the important thing was to make the image colourful. Social media is awash with participants complaining loudly that the winning pictures were more like splodges of colour and not 'proper' photographs- they've got a lot to learn!
