Title: Where'd My Text Go Then?

I need a wee bitty of help. Since I installed Ultima Online, every day after a lot of loading or playing UO for more than 30 mins all the text on my screen vanishes such as menus, websites and MSN messenger, any help on sorting this dastardly fiend?

I nothing about Ultima, so I'm only guessing here, but it sounds as if there may be some kind of graphics problem related to UO.

I assume you are up-to-date with any patches that have been released for it etc. It's also worth using DXDIAG to check that there's nothing wrong with DirectX on your machine.

DXDIAG said everything was ok, however the last screen said it needed at least Direct X 8 installed and I have 8.1  ???

Isn't there a Direct X 9 out now?  Maybe updating might help?  Just a guess.   :-\

Try looking for a driver update for your graphics card Robo.
Greenking was having a similar problem and he got that message when he had direct x ver.9 installed and it couldnt find it on his PC,not sure if he got it sorted but I think that was his error message  :-*

Theres been no updates for my TNT2 with the last 3 detonator driver updates  :-\

I just loaded up Flash MX and my words have gone again. It was fine with Flash 5. Any ideas now?  :(
