Title: Which Processor?

Hi all its me agian. I was givin this motherbaord http://english.aopen.com.tw/products/mb/AK73Pro.htm I'm a little un-sure on what processor I can get for it. Do's any one no what the max processor that the board will take?

Looks like an AMD Thunderbird 1.4 is the fastest it will take  :-*

I don't no what to do.My freind wonts a PC that uses windows XP. So should I get a new board that supports a XP processor or will the 1.4 Thunderbird have no problems with it?

Hi Twiggy,

I have an AMD Athlon 1.3GHz in my XP system and it's plenty fast enough for me 8)

Unless your friend wants to play Unreal Tournament at 1600x1200 resolution :o then it should be fine :)
