If you have a Lidl store near you Lona and they havent yet sold out,I bought 3 as gifts on Thursday.
They are TYPHOON cordless optical rechargeable ones at £17-99 each. These ones are the Mk2 I got the Mk1 earlier this year and think its great.Someone told me Aldi had them on sale as well  :-*

I live quite near both stores, Sandra. I will take a look first chance I get. I saw one in Dixon's but it was £29. A bit expensive don't you agree?

That seems to be the going price as I have been looking for a few weeks and the only other one I saw was an A4 one for around £29. A friend has an optical A4 and the way the buttons work doesnt feel as positive or nice as on mine,so I was put off by that fact more than the price. It was a bit of luck that I was asking another friend if he knew where I could get one and he had seen the leaflet the week before for Lidl saying that they were coming in on Thursday.
There seem to be a few cordless optical ones around but I have only seen 3 that are also rechargeable. The other was a Chic one which funnily enough looks identical to my Mk1 typhoon one even down to the RF Base/Recharger  :)
