If anybody is having problems with an HP 750 all-in-one which continually receives message "Scanner not found" should connect printer to it's own power supply directly into wall. I have been having problems for ages which I could not resolve but after removing it from multi point and giving it it's own power supply I have not had any more problems. HP are receiving a lot of flack regarding this issue :(

What a strange solution to your problem Lona :-\
At least it is working now I suppose :D

By multipoint do you just mean one of those trailing 4 or 6 way sockets Lona or is it some weird and wonderful HP thing ???
-
The good news is Scanner stayed connected for 1 day. The bad news is, it's gone again :(

I'm beginning to think your right, Sandra. There are lots of others who have my problem and I can only think it is a design fault.

Just thought I would give you an update on my Scanner problems. I found a message on HP forums that if I went into the Bios and changed Bi-directional to ECC or EPP it would solve the problem. Something to do with twain not connecting with the scanner. I really didn't know what I was doing but thought, what the hell, and it worked. My scanner and printer is now fully operational. :D
PS until the next time ;)
