I need some help guys and before you all scream ::) its to do with KaZaA :o
I know a lot of you arent very fond of this program but ive always liked using it BUT im having problems trying to get it to run on various screen settings so i thought Id uninstall it and re-install it again however for some reason it WONT uninstall :-\
I keep getting THIS message in pop up box:
Error loading C:\windows\system32\cd_clint.dll The specified module could not be found :-[
Any ideas how I can delete it? :-*

Are you using Kazaa or Kazaalite, Serenity?
If you are using Kazaalite, the .dll file you specify is actually a dummy file which has to be present for Kazaalite to work. It may be that you have protected the file using AdAware or another Anti-Spyware program, as they do pick it up. If you do have Adaware, I would first check to see that is hasn't been protected by the program.

Just been having a mooch and found this.
http://www.phazeshift.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/files/kazaauninstallfix.exe
Haven't used it so don't forget to virus check it.

Or try kazaAbegone from HERE (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/)

Ok...The problem is.. ::)....If you run spybot or ad-aware it removes that dll file and wont run or uninstall... >:(
The solution is to reinstall Kazaa and it will put the file back on then you can un-install it before you run spybot and ad-aware.... ;) :-*

It wont let her re install it now Cammy :(

That's a pity, because although I uninstalled Kazaalite the same day as I last installed it (after the first two files I got from it had viuses) I must have run AdAware as soon as I installed it, because I have found a copy of cd_clint.dll in my Adaware quarantine area. Although it is a dummy copy, it would have been enough to trick AdAware into thinking the genuine .dll file was present.
