Ah, well you cannot write to a cd unless you have a CD-Writer drive or a DVD-Writer than can also write CDs.

What Version of Windows? and what are you using to copy the files to CD? Nero etc. ;D

If you're looking for a CD Writer, TigerBee, this one (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=50746) is worth considering, and is a reasonable price. Check out the reviews also on that page. :)

The reason its asking you to insert a disc Tigerbee is because its a blank so it thinks that there isnt one in :)
-
i assume sean is 'Adept'? ;)
sandra, yep, disk is blank, but it acts as if no disc is in there; hence >:(
shldn't it give a msg like: 'cannot copy files to the disc' rather than act as if no disc is there when there plainly is ???
thx 4 info simon 8)

No it has to say its "Empty " as it cant "see" a blank disc it just assumes you havent got one in or its a faulty disc so it gives you that error message :doggie:
