Title: MSI vs. Gigabyte
Post by: WhiteDevil on September 23, 2003, 19:52
Hillo -

OK, now that i have sorted my hard drive problem (Seagate Barracuda 80GB 7200rpm coming soon) im trying to figure out which motherboard is best for the major upgrade. I have come across 2, an MSI and a Gigabyte and i would like to know if anyone here can give me a run-through of which is best. Motherboards and Processors are not my area of expertise, so please excuse a newbie :brick:

 MSI K7N2 Delta Series (http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=436)

Gigabyte GA-7N400-L1 (http://tw.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard/Products/Products_GA-7N400-L1.htm)

Thanks in advance,

Adam

(Btw, thanks Sandra for the help you have already given me )

Personally I think you should go for a nice Western Digital Caviar with 8Mb cache  ::) Anyway I know for a fact Gigabyte are a good make. Not sure on MSI since they gave me a mobo that had a capactor or 3 in from of my AGP  :damn:
