I've been asked to send a Word document as a .pdf file. Does anyone know how to do this? I have Acrobat Reader 5.1 but that only appears to read files. :'(

Don't know if this will help, Clive. There's a demo version you may be able to use, if it's just a one off you want to convert.

This program can convert any text file into PDF file. The biggest advantage of this program is that it is freeware. You can choose rotation, pagesize, fonts and text size.

There are a lot of online services that you can use if you don't want to convert very often.
FastPDF (http://www.fastpdf.com/) is one I picked randomly from Google :)
