LOOK HERE (http://www.suggy.123isp.co.uk/monitors.html)
rodders was so impressed [and that's praise coming from him ladies] that he said I should show it on the forum ;D

The monitor on the left looks fine Catch but the central one and the one on the right seem to have wavy lines all over them, mine did that just before it packed up ;D ;D ;D

well Sandra those two have Sony Triniton tubes in them and it's a build thingy, ask Adept. Mind you they should be straight horizontal lines, well they are on a weekend.

Although somewhat lacking in extra monitors, this is what my
scruffy little corner of the Wibbly Wobbly Web looks like.

Are you hard of hearing Rodders ???
Those speakers look like they may rattle a window or two ;)
-
Trust rodders to be viewing something with a big horn on ;D
I'm supprised you of all people missed that Sandra >:D

Hopefully I'll soon get the memory for the new bat-machine, and then I get it all set up (no window in the case just yet ;))
Rodders, cool speakers 8)
Now I wonder if I can connect mine into my Marshall 4x12 cabinets :o ::)
-
What's wrong with using a 'Mesa Boogie' either side of your monitor then, Bat? Actually, there's no reason you couldn't use your cabs -- providing the neighbours are up for it! (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hogarth.alivewww.co.uk%2Fsmilies%2Fdevil.gif&hash=6a72b670f5d060ff50a2d6f33a96be00d961ec6e)
-
Ahhh Rodders, I'm patriotic and Marshall's are English.
Well with the new PC I can plug my guitar directly into it, output the signal from the PC to my 50W valve amp, take the output to my other 150W amp and power the speakers .... you should hear me from wherever you are >:D
The neighbours won't know what blasted them into the next galaxy ;D
-
bat can you turn it down mate. i've just had to close my windows.
;)
-
Mesa boogie valve amps are up there with the best of them, and the volume goes up to 13 >:D
marshall are cr@p and living on there name :( imho (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fusers.skynet.be%2Fgedi%2Femoticons4u%2Fmusic%2Fmusik04.gif&hash=989b631ee6664078bba7251df1529e3f753049c0)
very interested in putting my guitar through my pc. what do i need and how ?
and how do i get to play a part of an mp3 so that i don't have to listen to it all just practice one part, and can u do it with win-amp. (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fusers.skynet.be%2Fgedi%2Femoticons4u%2Fmusic%2Fmusik39.gif&hash=d30d355eaca4e2dd218be54f258c05c76c11a35f)
i would also like to add cuts of music to my dv camcorder clips.
thanks for any help(https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fusers.skynet.be%2Fgedi%2Femoticons4u%2Fmusic%2Fmusik33.gif&hash=f81e162289d21a065b871da0696920738e3ff801)

This nifty little utility, MP3 Trim (http://www.logiccell.com/~mp3trim/), is the only way of performing a truly lossless edit on an MP3 that I know of, i.e. it doesn't convert your MP3 back into a .WAV before trimming it. The downside, is that you'll need to guess the start and end times of the segment you want to keep, and then keep narrowing down those times until you reach perfection. Thus it will be a bit hit-and-miss if you want to use it for 'chopping' purposes, but otherwise it's a startling bit of free kit which I thoroughly recommend. ;)

Here is mine

They make you live in a wardrobe, Clive? :o
-
Nice to see that you are making an effort to come "out of the closet" Clive ;) ;D
p.s. nice furniture ;)
-
I hate coming out of the closet Serenity. ;D It's next door to Mrs Clive's identical closet and we are separated by that damn fax machine and a telly so I can watch my beloved "Neighbours" which she scorns. Mine is the tidy closet, hers is the untidy one. Typical of a woman isn't it? ;D ;D ;D
-
Clive, I've resized your pic, if you'll consent to an edit! :)
-
Drat! I was just doing the same. ::)
(Edit: Now down from 300-and-something kb, to around 24kb. Those with V90 modems will thank you for it.)

Don't worry, Rod - looks like it's been sorted. I put a resized pic up under Clive's post, but couldn't remove the original (too big) attachment. Something perhaps to bring to Sean's attention? :-
Mine is OK as it is, isn't it? :)
-
I don't mind being resized at all. ;D
-
Mine is OK as it is, isn't it? :)
Sure -- if you've got BB, Simon. Otherwise that 120kb difference between the original and optimised versions of your pic can have a signficant impact on loading time for someone with a 56k connection. The filesize of pics is what makes a normal webpage either appear almost instantly, or have you sat around yawning.
Note there is a further penalty with forum pages such as these, since they have to be coded on the fly by the server before they can appear. Therefore anything that can help speed up a page's loading time is all right by me. ;)
-
Here's mine!

-
Sure - GFI, Simon! :)
(Edit: I note both files are now larger again. What method did you use to save them, Simon?)
-
Yes, I noticed the files were larger now. The one on Clive's post is not a copy of your one, so that's why that one is still about 60K, but I can't explain how mine has increased. All I did was save them as .jpgs in Paint Shop Pro. ???
-
Here's my mess

Don't you just love all those lovely cables? ;D They send my wife crazy. ;D What's that black contraption with the red handles on the left Adept?
-
Those are just the visible ones, the rest are hidden :o
The red handled thing is my steering wheel Clive, so I can play all my driving games. It goes with the pedals on the floor. It was a bargain I couldn't resist, mis-priced in Dixons at £9.99 instead of £29.99. The Manager wasn't best pleased ;D >:D
-
I would love to know how you can tidy all your cables up, but next time you look, they're all tied in knots again! I'm sure there's a creature that goes round at night time, tying everyone's wires in knots!! >:D >:D
-
I'll bet Lady Adept was none too pleased either. ;D ;D ;D

I used to cable tie all mine, but I change kit so often these days it's not worth it.

It's called target marketing fox,
I knew the forum crew could not resist a header like that, I mean just look at the 'hits' total. And I also guessed Sandra would be the first to look hehe ;D
