For the last couple of days I've been having problems with IE- and before you say anything Simon, no, I'll leave mozilla alone for now ;D- but only when I first try to open it,it opens then freezes. I have to use ctrl-alt-del to clear it. Then it's fine. It doesn't matter if it's opened with an email link,task bar icon or off desktop. I've got IE 5.5 and ME. Any ideas?

I would'nt know, I use................Mo.........Simon is it something you said ::)
Barra why don't you update to IE:6 as M$ are not supporting IE:5.5 after December, so what you gonna do for your security updates ;D
-
Last time I used IE6 I had problems with a few sites, can't remember if it was this one or the "other one", maybe both so I'm a bit wary of it
-
I think you should do the upgrade Barra. You are going to have to do it at some point aren't you? I haven't heard of anyone having problems accessing the forum with IE6. Be brave. Sandra will hold your hand. ;D

Check your Home Page, Barra. Try it with the 'Use Blank' option. It may be trying to open something iffy whan you start IE. Just a thought.
Of course, you could always try Mo.... :-X ;D ;D

I have IE6 ME and Mozilla and I still get freezing!
Brrrrr tis cold ::)
No truely I have quite a problem with freezing at the moment and it can happen on either IE or Moz
-
mmmmmm, 50-50 chance of it working then
-
it's obviously an ME problem this freezing mularky, ditch the bitch I say, and walk into the light with W2K or it's variant XP.
-
mmmm could be, but why would it just start freezing now, more than ever?
I thought that it must be something else on our computers that ME doesn't like?
