..right ok, here we go again, i posted a while back about graphics card not working, well i managed to resolve that problem by re-installing windows, i have tried doing this again but im getting no change, I run windows XP home edition , anyone got any ideas?? ???

Would help if we knew what motherboard and soundcard :) . I take it you have disabled the one on the motherboard (they usually come with one fitted these days) - it will be in the bios , usually under 'peripherals' or 'advanced'.

im not 100% sure, im not on the computer that has the problem, im using another one at the moment, when i get back home i'll have a look and find out what sound / mother board im using! :)

WAHAY!! ;D, i managed to sort it out, it was just a configuration problem, wish id'e known earlier! ::), thanks anyway though guys!! ;) - if anyone else is having the same problem, e-mail me, Daz_H16@H*o*t*m,*a*i*l.com - and i'll explain how to resolve the problem;)
