Title: battlefeild 1942

right, i just bought battlfeild 1942 and two of it's expansions a couple of hours ago and this peice of f***ing s**t pc won't let me play the god damn game more than 5 mins before freezing, giving me a plain bsod screen or just restarting. my pc info is here (http://measter.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/cpuinfo.html). help me get this stupid pc to get this game running >:(

Suggest updating your bios first - the version you are running is from October 2002 while the latest version is from March 2003.

The readme for it indicates a few AGP related changes which could affect you.

Failing that a temperature check on your system might be in order.

i sort of got it sorted. i updated my video card drivers, it goes very slow from in-game to escape menu though

Have you got it working better yet Measter? I have basically the same setup as you, same CPU,MOBO,Ti4200,512Mb SDRAM etc. Runs perfectly fine for me  :-[ Have you tried updating it to 1.5?
