Small problem for the techies and a frustrating one for me.
On my liteon cd rewriter (40x12x48)when I use incd to copy files, when I have finished it wont eject on the front button I have to delve in the control panel, any ideas would be greatly received.
Hook 8)star
An afterthought!! with no disk no problem after burning, problem.
-
Usually after burning, an alert should appear telling you that the cd burn has been done correctly, after clicking ok, the cd draw should eject on its own. I haven't used InCD, but that happens with every other burn software i have used.

Corky ;D.
it works like that with Nero, but when I copy word files to disk I have have to go int a file to eject.
Hope that makes sense ???
-
I don't use Nero myself Hook, but on all the installations I've done for other people, In-CD has behaved like this for me too.
Perhaps thats just the way it works ???

Im currently using WinOnCD 3.8 It isn't free, but it is a great program for burning cd's.. I think there is a free trial, if you want to test it out. http://www.roxio.com

Have you got an English version of Win On Corky ?
I aquired the full one ;) But it is in German ??? and I didnt think they had released an English one yet :-*
-
the setup on this one was in german, but the program is english... Weird that :)
-
Ah that would explain it,I just remembered that when I tried to install it,for some reason possibly my PC, my PC crashes and I have had to uninstall it.So if I had managed to run it fully it would probably be ok :-*

i think :)
-
OOOOOH! Thats a lot dearer than mine cost ;)
But I think it explains why my PC crashes when I try to install it :-
Minimum requirements: Pentium 400MHz PC; Windows 98/XP; 64Mb Ram; 300Mb hard disk space (2Gb for full VCD authoring facilities); CD or DVD burner.
Definitely dont have 2 gig of free space and I am only running a 450.So presumably it doesnt like my specifications :o

Dunno where I picked up this bit of info now, but I'm given to understand that it's not a brilliant idea to have two different CD burning programs on your system at the same time, as they can get a bit stroppy with each other. Anyone else heard of this phenomenon?

Sandra/(https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fusers.telenet.be%2Feforum%2Femoticons4u%2Fanimal%2F526.gif&hash=47ea1765bfec9802fafd957a1345e93e7f88ee6d) couldn't copy your last pic but near enough ;D
vorsprung durch technik Verbesserung.
Anyway Im happy with nero and its not that I copy many files to cd and I never burn (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fusers.telenet.be%2Feforum%2Femoticons4u%2Fviolent%2Fsterb032.gif&hash=3883acacbf6ba7aa85b7bcabc5d585692edb5d62)(https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fusers.telenet.be%2Feforum%2Femoticons4u%2Fsmoking%2Frauch04.gif&hash=101ee88d8822a37c4392d3d7cc0dd9daead54a3d)CD's so its not a great problem.

I have heard of that exact thing Rodders, but I have a few friends who have a few progs on and seem to do ok with it.
With mine I usually use Nero or DiscJuggler and as long as I just Burn CDs and do nothing else usually I am ok.
If I am on line or doing something off line it doesnt seem to like it but I think thats down to lack of processing power in my old PC :-*
-
But Hook you've turned me from a Bitch into a Fozzie bear :'(

I have Nero Burning Rom, and XP's own CD Writer alongside. I've not had any problems - I would think it would only cause a hitch if you tried to use them both at the same time wouldn't it? :-";"xx
-
With my Liteon I have Ahead Nero 5. When burning Data on the fly I have to go to file then eject . when burning a Audio Cd it ejects automaticaly on completion

I am not too sure about this so if I am wrong would a more knowledgeable person say so please.
I think it will depend on where each program stores its Temp or Shared Files,if they are named similarly for both programs and in the same place it would be more likely to C O C K things up :-*
-
Oldun, Im glad I'm not the only one with the same problem, must be a trait of nero ???, I take it thats a 40x12x48 liteon same as mine, if I remember right in what you posted a few weeks back.
Ps Sandra.. I remember my Mum telling me about Fozzie bear.
-
I've known of the problem associated with having two burning programmes installed on the same system, but I think it was peculiar to just two programmes, obviously a conflict
I have Nero 5.5 and it ejects every time when you click after the confirmation window appears. I've found Nero to be quite easy to use and feature packed. And the LiteOn CDRWs to be excellent, ohh and my Mirai too
-
hehe, which do you prefer Sandra? Bitch or Fozzie ;D
-
I tried nero when it came with my old CD Writer, but it seems that i can only get it to work with the writer it was bundled with and that was a bit of a pain, so i went and got WinOnCD, and have had no problems since..
In addition, i haven't had problems mulitple software on my pc yet..
