Title: Nero dosen`t recognise my drives

hi,
just put 2 new drives in my pc, got a pioneer 121 dvd drive along with a pioneer 106 dvd-rw.
after rebooting windows recognised the new drives no problems.
if i go into my computer both drives are there.
i installed record now max and copied a dvd, no probs.
but to burn mp3s onto cd i normally use nero, so after installing on the first page of nero all i get is the option to burn an image, i get nothing to show that nero is recognising any of my drives.
if anybody has had this problem before, i`d be grateful if you`d let me know if u overcame this.
on my last pc i had nero and record now max installed and they both worked fine, so i know they can on the same pc without conflicting.

That will be because the Nero you have installed is an OEM  version that comes bundled with a writer. As a result it checks to see if the bundled kit is part of your system - if not then it doesn't see a writer.

Because I've had a few drives over the years I've got about 10 copies of Nero here, all writer specific, each with a scribbled on "Liteon" or "LG" etc.

You will either have to buy a copy of Nero or put the old writer back into the system.

 you shud download a different version of nero off of mirc or wateva program you use to download and everything shud b running fine after that if it doesnt then im lost m8 please reply n let me no wat happened ;)

It has to be pointed out however, that downloading software from the Internet is illegal and PC-Pals does not condone the use of illegal software.

Please do not refer to illegal activities on this forum again. :thanks:

were you talking to me about the coloured writin thing coz i only do that coz i like to b different i dnt like being a normal sane person lol ;)so i will still do it but i will change the colours a bit  :)

lol phew i was starting to think you lot actually live in the real world lol  ;) im gonna quit the colours anyway coz it takes to long :)
