Title: windows explorer fault
Post by: daveeb on December 22, 2002, 13:41
hi all

a good friend of mine cannot open his windows explorer. i think he gets a dll missing or corrupt message. i suggested that he tries installing windows (ME) on top of it to hopefully repair the iffy file.  does this sound the best idea or is there something easier he could try.

I think I heard that if you go into control panel and then Add/Remove programs and try and delete Explorer it wont let you but gives an option to repair it Dave  :-*

Sorry to butt in, but are you sure that's not Internet Explorer, Sandra?  Dave was referring to Windows Explorer.   :-";"xx

Depends what it is daveeb. Can you get us an error message so that we can diagnose the problem properly?
