Now thats just showing off  ::) You can go off people you know  ;)
I was feeling very pleased with myself recently after managing to get my old AMD 450 K6 to accept a 40 gig drive and thinking it would do me for another year or two  ;D ;D ;D

Nice system, DualBoy, in fact, your System 2 is not that far removed from my own system, which I put together myself last year, and for a first attempt, I'm quite pleased!  Here's my spec:

AMD Athlon XP 1800+ 1.53Ghz
Abit KG7 SktA 266Mhz
2 x 256MB DDR PC2700
40GB IBM Deskstar 120GXP
nVidia GeForce MX400
Creative Sound Blaster
350W Black case (don't know the make!)
Standard Ribbon Cables (but would like to swap to rounded ones at some point)
Pioneer DVD-ROM DVD-106
LiteOn 40x12x48 CD-RW
Sony Floppy Disk Drive
IBM SK 8806 Keyboard (Black)
Kensington 5 Button Optical Mouse (corded)
17" Monitor
Windows XP Home

The crazy thing about my system is the Case and Power supply were the most expensive items. But you really cant skimp on a good case and PS whne overclocking. Currently having a problem upgrading to RedHat 8.0 right now. It wont detect my CDROM or HDs.. I think it could be due to my raid controller. I am going to try later today when I am back from work. Probably a simple problem that I am just overlooking.

I am very surpised to see that we all have IBM hard drives. After the horrid problems with the 60GXP I am shocked that other people would be willing to try the new IBM line (120GXP) but its good to know at the same time.

Well, I didn't know there'd been problems with previous models, and I've never had any trouble with mine, so I would happily recommend the 120GXP.

I opted for the Maxtor ATA133 line due to being a little faster, second choice was the IBM as they are very fast too.

I'm toying with Serial ATA for the next one tho
