hi, my computer has restarted itself several times while i have been playing halo, it sometimes happens for no reason (when im just surfing net) it has started happening alot.. have you got any advice

Remind me which OS you are using Jonah please.
If its XP then theres a setting in System Properties/Advanced/Startup and Recovery, click on Settings and untick Automatically Restart in the System Failure section
