I'm sorry Bob, but us old rams need to guard our secrets pretty closely.  Recommend you spend the evening in a Redneck bar to restore your sense of smell.  The rest should follow, once you've emptied your wallet.  Hope this helps.   ;D

Reading that back to myself, it seems as if I may have missed your point entirely.  Please accept my sincere apologies, Bob.

'Hearing' is only something that can be be developed by regularly frequenting Heavy Metal gigs and standing in front of one of the Bass bins at the side of the stage all evening.  Sorry for any confusion.

BTW. My cousin Chris and his missus should be landing on your shores any day now.  Their plan is to hire a Harley and 'do America' for a couple of months.  If you see them, would you please tell them that Rod says "Hi!".

i got commissioned out to work on 12 sherif's stations pcs. Seems a distant relation bought these 12pcs 9 monitors 3 scanners and 5 printers and ton of peripherals for 25 bucks in an auction. Now this is north texas, 30 mins drive at 50mph to get to the nearest resturant.

The pcs were all pentium ones with the exception of a tandy and one monitor-pc combination from IBM. Ive worked on older machine for the most part of my technical education so this wasn't a problem. But i couldn't remember the name of the ram. All of the hds were grinding away and all were below 2 gig. I picked the best 4 hds and stripped the other machines for ram and good fans, because i had a bad power supply and processor fan.

Its cool to be able to go outside and not smell your neighbors cigarette smoke or the stagnate air of the city.

Yep....just keep calling us Australians :) (I'm out to Dallas on a regular basis at the moment and I've been called Australian on every occasion)
hey promised the earth! Then delivered mud.
Technically it did meet the spec.

Theory we came up with is that all Brits are shown on US television as having really distinctive accents - when Americans encounter a 'normal' accent they think it can't be British so have a stab at the next likely country.

We did start talking like very bad Hugh Grant clones for a while just to see what would happen :)

i watch cnn and everyonce in awhile they have british reporters on. I didn't see a real problem in recognizing the accent.

Maybe you were talking to some wasted texans. U know we like our liquor here
