now that is odd..the only thing i can think of is by downloading the latest version it might have changed something in your setup that we didnt think of and thus meaning it worked. That the older version was f***ed. I know that it had quite a few security holes in it so it was worthwhile getting the latest version for that alone.

On a different topic, has somebody altered the clock?  I could have sworn that the post I made this morning was one hour ahead, but it seems to have been adjusted.  If that's the case, I can't find any more bugs - I'm even getting the yellow icons where there are new posts now.  Not only that, but the board does seem much faster than the old board which started off OK but eventually became slower than snail-pace.

The clock is about 4 minutes fast at the moment, Dave, although we're not sure why.  Sam has it on his to-do-list.  If yours is an hour out, then maybe you need to alter the time setting in your profile?

yes it would have to be the profile thing - does the time say "All times are GMT + 1 Hour" ?

as for the 4 minutes. I believe, for some odd reason, the server clock is 4 minutes fast!! Not much we can do about that, I still need to fully verify this.

It still doesn't tell me how many posts are unread as the other board did, but I can live with that.
