Freeware Windows/Computer fix software
« on: December 09, 2005, 21:42 »
Does anybody know a freeware software program that will find problems on my computer and fix them? I have Windows ME and my computer hasn't acted right for a while now. It crashes and basically acts funny from time to time (Startup-Shutdown). I have Adware, Toniarts Easyclean, Spywareblaster, Spybot, AntiVir, and Norton Firewall and none of them have been able to help my problem.   Thanks

Go to www.filehippo.com and download CCLEANER

Its free and it will clean the registery and remove dead links and stuff.

Run the normal cleaner prog then click on the Issues tab and let it fix issuse, that should improve things for you  :)

Thanks Sandra,
Like I say, I have Toniarts Easyclean. Does CC Cleaner do anything that Toniarts doesn't ?

Thanks again Sandra. I installed CC Cleaner and it found 238 issues. I've been testing all my programs and the only one that isn't working now is my Acrobat Reader but I can reinstall that. I'll have to see if that helps my computer in the long run.
