Disk Monitor Error message.
« on: March 11, 2006, 21:29 »
Hi All, my mates young brother had been messing with pc, basically her modem wasnt working and she couldnt get online, i sorted that by reinstalling but she also keeps getting a message after restarts ''DISK MONITOR BOX ,WITH MESSAGE 'FAILED TO GET DATA FROM COUNT'
Up to now if you just cancel message it dosent seem to be affecting anything but im just curious if anyone knows what this might mean and if it might affect certain areas of her pc?
 Thanks Shaz..  :D

Dont know why youre getting that message or what it is Sharon.

Get CCleaner from www.filehippo.com

Its a free program.
Install it and select the Fix Issues part.
That will scan and remove strange things from the registry which hopefully will fix or at least stop the message appearing  :)

Have a look in the Startup Items part in MSCONFIG Sharon.
Maybe hes installed a program or started a service thats not working properly but is set to run at startup ?
