Topic: New Work PC

Hoorah, they finally got me a new one after 5 years.  XP Pro on a LAN.

Trouble is 24 hours later i've lost most of the options in control panel. yesterday i had 34 today only 7 namely Accessibility, display, keyboard, mouse, power options, region & language, sounds & audio.  Also in the display option  the tabs options have reduced from 5 to 3, themes and screensavers appear to have gone south  :? .  Tried other peoples PC's and they're still ok.  Everything else seems to be working normally  :?

Now our IT boys are on the case but i'm not holding my breath.  Anyone have a clue what might have happened, so i can get one up on our beloved IT department.

Ah well they managed to sort it for once  

EDIT  forgot to mention that it was an intentional problem created by them (so they say).  :roll:
