A website that aims to take the stress out of moving house has won the People's Choice award in Yahoo's Finds of the Year 2007.
Moveme.com was among eight picked by Yahoo and a panel of expert judges including Web User's Editor Claire Woffenden.
It won out in the Best Innovative Website category, and produces free, personalised calendars which map out everything you could possibly need to think about when moving house.
Jeff Revoy of Yahoo Search praised Moveme.com and the overall quality of the competition.
"The whole array of sites short listed and the eight previous winners of Yahoo Finds of the Year really harness the power of the web and are an example of connecting people to content that matters most to them," said Revoy.
Charles Wasdell, marketing director said: "It is so exciting to have won the Yahoo Finds of the Year People's Choice award and be supported by both the public and the judging panel.
"Moveme.com has only been going for a year and it is a site we are really proud of. I'm delighted that it is proving as useful as we hoped," he continued.
BT also announced the winners of its Online Excellence Awards earlier this week.
