Overclocking an Intel 2.4GHz CPU
« on: February 19, 2003, 11:29 »
Those of you who know me, know that I'm an avid AMD fan (no SImon not a cooling fan  :P) however, many people like Intel CPUs, and may wish to overclock them too. Intel are not as easy to overclock as AMD, but HERE is an article on overclocking a 2.4GHz version

You really do need to chill ... some people like overclocking PCs, same as you like football ... BUT I don't criticise that.

You said in another thread that "cheaper is better" ... now you contradict yourself .. overclocking a CPU means you can get extra speed for no more cash.  ::)

I think you should realise I have only posted an article that describes it for peoples information.

I neither say overclock nor don't

People WILL overclock the latest chip, because they can and want to ...... so, what you think is laughable, others take very seriously ...... so it is best not to judge people by your own ideas and accept that some people want to do things you don't.

Marshall 73, you have to realise that just because you don't think its sensible to overclock a fast chip that others won't want to.

After all people buy fast cars and have them tuned for better performance - what's the difference?
