Topic: How Do I Rotate MPG Files ?

Hi All,

Hope your all well

I have just taken some mpg videos with my new Sony DSC-U10 digital camera.

problem is I held the camera in portrait mode and now when I play the files back on my PC, they are rotated (The camera records in landscape - if you know what i mean!)

So is there anyway (without tilting my head to the left) to rotate these mpg video files the right way up?

A piece of freeware would be ideal - sadly I can't find anything.

I dont know for certain that it will do it but Pinnacle Studio 8 is supposed to be one of the best progs around for editing and doing things with video cams,its not cheap though unless you know where to shop

Think i'm on to something with a little freeware program called Virtual Dub. I'll give it a try and get back to you...

EDIT: Yep sorted it.

Used freeware from virtualdub.org and vidiopak from stoik.com
