It certainly got me a stable and faster connection when I asked for my MAC code.   :)

Good lad Sam for reminding me. I've been meaning to do something about my ISP costs, but did not fancy the hassle of moving.

Anyway short story, rang customer services up, asked if I could negotiate my £19.95 monthly fee. Citing, although I had been happy with the service I've received over the last six years, times are now a lot harder. Hence I was looking at going with O2 @ £12.23 a month. Young lady put me on hold for a couple of minutes, and came back with an offer of £12.95. Cannot be @rsed with changing my email address and such, and like I say I cannot fault the service, so job done....£84 a year saving.

Again well done Sam

That's excellent, Tony.  I did the same with a credit card recently. Got the interest reduced by 50%.  :thumb:

just bought a new map for it recently Simon, 55 bloody quid, but you also get a years worth of updates. I was feeling flush at the time, plus I fancied having the "lane guidance" and IQ routing. I obviously succumbed to the ....must have the latest syndrome, I often complain about ............but I never said I was perfect
