Furtive web surfers might not be able to rely on their web browser's private mode to hide their tracks.

Another scare story. Practise safe surfing, and have good, updated security, and most people will be absolutely fine.

I was just about to ask how I could check which sites the kids were on while in private browsing,(I note that your ISP or Employer can still track your movements)
I just wondered how? Anyone know how to check?

your router will probably log it all.... unless they are using some proxy server.. and if they are just block that. Everything is logged.
What do you mean by private browsing?

Under Tools in both FF & IE there is an option to start a In Private browsing session where nothing is logged in History.
