I feel incredibly sorry for his family. In the 1970s and 1980s, his Grandfather was the club treasurer and his Grandmother ran the refreshment bar. His Dad was a director of the club until all of this came out and his Mum is the licencee of the social club - where he is alleged to have also stolen money from. His Uncle (a Licensed Coach) used to manage the reserve team when we had one. Goodness knows what they must be making of all this.
Word on the terraces is that he was being blackmailed, so there might be a few more twists and turns before closure.
