I've been given a PC to try and fix for a friend of a friend
It is a fairly modern Tiny PC (ugh!) which has had the motherboard and processor upgraded to an ASROCK K7VM2 and AMD 2400+.
The problem is that the machine starts Windows Millennium (double ugh!) and just as it goes into graphical mode, it corrupts the screen memory and crashes.
A quick run-through with PC-Check points to a problem with cache memory.
The question is; is it likely that there is a motherboard/processor fault or could it be that the pathetic 90w PSU in the Tiny case isn't giving the board enough power?
