Just had an e mail off my ISP "V21" saying they have teamed up with a Company called ONSPEED and they Quote.

I tried something like that in November, was about a 5 - 10 second pause then the site loaded pretty fast but if something is already compressed not much difference

Hmmm... I've looked at their web site which seems very professional, I've noted that they are recommended by .net magazine which is very influential

BUT I STILL DON'T BELEIVE IT!

This "revelation" has been touted around on another forum I have been known to frequent.
Its not as good as it appears.  Its fine for some things but as most downloads etc are already compressed you wont notice much difference
