Sorry Hooky, looks like you need the Ultra Edition, if we'd only found this out on Friday it would have saved you a lot of hassle  
Maybe its available as a plugin, that will be why its directing you to neros site

Before you buy anything Hook you should try burning with a different disc  

I couldnt burn the one you gave me to try but mine burnt the same film with the same settings fine  

I'll drop one of mine through your door on the way to work tomorrow and see if you have any joy with it  

Its only 2.4X but the disc quality seems to be  vital with DVD burning  

If you got all those free ones and they're the problem you could still use them for data and music ok

That's a good point, GK.  If you look on Ebuyer, at the DVD Writer reviews, it's well documented that some writers have a problem with the cheaper blank discs.

I have found quite a good outlet for blank discs, at http://www.cd-rmedia.co.uk/index.mhtml.

The 3 disks that I burnt and wouldn't work on the pc worked on the House DvD......thats weird in itself.

have you tried alcohol 120%, it has specialized decoders and compressors, its said to be able to burn dvd with any encryption protection. Copys are ment for personal use of course. Its said to be able to backup ps1 and ps2 games without needing modchips installed. Theres also DVDxcopy, i haven't heard one negative about either. They aren't free but they work of course. If your needing help "locating" a copy, you can contact me on AIM sn Bobscrachy. Everyone knows i would never suggest something morally negative...
