Printer Problem
« on: March 16, 2004, 18:59 »
Hey I just got a new printer from my father and it is a Lex-mark x1100 series with the usb hook up and my computer will not install the computer because it says it cannot find the software to complete the installation.  Is there any way that I can find or buy the software to install this printer ??? Thanks in advance PC Pals Rulz!

Hi Big J!

You can get drivers and utilities from  http://www.lexmark.co.uk/  Hope that helps.   :)

Hi and :welcome: Big_J,

I recently bought a Lexmark X1160 printer (similar to that above) and it came with 3 installation CD's - did yours not have them?

Slightly off topic - the only thing the printer didn't come with was a power lead - really annoying when you don't have one spare and have to go out and buy one to get things running!  ::)
