This bit always confuses me:-

Choose RWIN between 5808 and 13068

Can't they be a bit more specific?

What's the significance of stages of 1438?  To be honest, mine's good enough for me at the moment, and I can't really be arsed to fiddle with it.   ;D

I am actually considering upgrading my CPU, which will also involve a new motherboard, I think, as according to the website, my existing mobo will only take up to an Athlon XP2200+, and as I already have an Athlon XP 1800+, it hardly seems worth it for that.  If and when I get round to doing the hardware upgrade, I would also be considering upgrading my ADSL connection, and will be shopping round for the best deal, as there is nothing holding me to Pipex, now I have done the minimum 12 months.

Don't ask me. I'm only the monkey. You have to see the organ grinder. I got the information from the tweak website and Plusnet's forum where they actualy encourage users to try and get the best use of their connection whereas other ISPs have been known to actively discourage it.
You use the analagy of you CPU. How about; if you knew that adjusting the gap on your cars sparkplugs by a couple 1/1000 it would give better fuel consumption and performance, what would you do? :)
