delete internet history
« on: October 31, 2004, 20:07 »
I am using AOL 9.0 Windows XP. Is there an easy way of removing internet addresses from the drop down menu marked hISTORY ? I have downloaded various free software to do with deleting history, and ran them, but the list of sites visited remains. Many thanks.

I'm not sure I understand correctly what you are asking for. But till now I understand things in this way, where the answer is very simple:

Control Panel > InterNet Options > General (tab) > Clear History

Maybe you want to "delite Files" too.

Thanku. I have tried that, but the history still lists about 100 recently visited sites.

As Andy Warhol once said "Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes sometime"  :)

Enjoy yours while it lasts Clive, and well done  :)
