Why are you wanting to update it, what isnt it doing that you think will be improved by updating it Jon  ???

Hi Jon, I cant identify your mobo from the information you have supplied.
The KT-133A K7 chipset is used in a lot of different boards.
Can you tell me which make, model and revision number, if any, you have please  ???

Have a look here Jon :

http://www.amdmb.com/files.php

Epox
8K7A
8K7A Bios 10.12 - Download
This bios adds the following options: Added Easy-Boot menu. Added support for DMI edit by using DMICFG. Added Magic PC-Health display. Added Athlon XP Quantispeed support.* Improved DDR compatibility. Fixed Windows XP/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer/System/ACPI error marks. Fixed HighPoint RAID and SBLive LiveWare 3.0 hang up issue.

8K7A Bios 8.24 - Download
This bios is dated 8/24/01.
Fixed boot up issue with Adaptec 29160 SCSI and HPT370.
Modified K7 desktop CPU string for CPUID 66x.
Added support for Athlon 4 SSE function.*
Added PCI Latency Timer selection to BIOS.

Your mobo is about half way down the page and has two newer versions than you current one.
Warning make sure that this is the correct bios for your mobo before you flash it.

Good luck  :)

Sorry Jon, the last on the Epox section on the same page :

EP-8KTA3
8KTA3 Bios 219 - Download
This bios is dated 2/19/01. Fixes: Fixed system hang (Debug card post "C0") issue if CMOS checksum fail and pressing "F1" button.
Fixed DRAM size detection issues.
Fixed AGP voltage display if AGP card uses 3.3 voltage.
Fixed some Windows 2000 install issues.
Updated HPT370 BIOS to V1.0.3B (EP-8KTA3+ only).

Unfortunately it appears to be the same date as the one you have already so it looks like there isnt a newer one available  :(
