g'day all

anyone know how to empty the cache in mozilla. its easy with IE but i cant seem to find a way to do it with firefox

edit having said that i cant seem to do it in IE either now. i used to right click on the IE icon and there was an option to clear the temporary files, now i dont seem to get this option. is this a "feature" of windows XP

Go:

Tools > Options

Then select privacy and at the bottom of the page is the cache

In fact, I'm hesitating to give my thought about this one, because I think you already know it, but anyway, I'm going to do that, just in case:

In IE (XP) you can get that same box by going to:

Control panel > Option Internet > (Delet files, is just in the ceter)

Is that what you're looking for?

Just to let you know dave, Mozilla Firefox has a two-click "Delete Private Data" - or words to that effect. It clears cache, cookies, history etc in one go.

In Firefox verion 1:

Tools > Options > Privacy. At the bottom, just above the OK button,

"Delete all information stored while browsing."
