My friend has just received her pc back after having a dvd writer installed.

When she booted it up for the first time a new programme was showing in the taskbar called Aconti.

I did a search on Google and was shocked to find it was a high cost dialler.

How could this programme have appeared as she had not even connected to the internet.?

Who installed the DVD Writer?  Maybe they were using the PC on the Internet while they were supposed to be working on it?  :(

Thanks guys, it was a friend who fitted the dvd writer.

I don't think he would put it on intentionally. I think I have got rid or I hope I have.
