hi, sorry if this is under the wrong heading but can anyone tell me the best way to clean my LCD monitor screen please

Hi Keith,

You could try THIS.  ;)

But if that doesn't work, all I use is everyday glass / window cleaner, with a lint free polishing cloth (or something similar which doesn't smear).

I paid £15 for a proper screen cleaning kit but it just turned out to be sachets containing cut-down windscreen cleaning "wet wipes."  You may as well go to your local Halfords and buy a pack of "Screenies" costing under a fiver because I can assure you that they are made of identical material and the solvent in both is isopropyl alcohol.  You will end up with a much larger pack too!

Tip:  Brush off all the dust with one of those wonderful Flash dusters first.  LCD screens are very soft and easily scratched by dust particles.

now dried on "boggies" they are bugger to shift of LCD screens  :D
