Surely this will never be the preferred method of watching TV, though?  People like their huge screens with great picture clarity and surround sound.  These devices might be okay for people on unavoidable journeys who want to watch something like a big footy match, but isn't it doubtful that they'll ever be used for much more than that?

Hmmmm..... I can just see gangs of muggers hitting people for their mobile tellies instead of cell phones.

How do you get your battery to last long enough? Mine goes after about 30 mins watching a video.  Its a 5th gen video iPod - but not the latest one.

I imagine it would be harder to track down people with tv licenses if you were always moving around.

There are only three things you can be certain of in this life Bob.  Taxes, death and having to pay your TV license.  Those guys will dig you up from the grave to make you pay.

I got mine last july so I guess mine is probably a 5th gen video one... the battery lasted about 4 hours when I was on planes... I turned the screen brightness down quite a lot to achieve this.

oh and I think it depends on the type of file to an extent as the hard disk will have less work load on smaller files...  :dunno:
