I'm not sure why they even bother stopping this - everytime they do a better and more improved method comes out... think back to napster and now look at where we are (of course data connection speed increases has helped)

Very true.  I think it's a case of the government trying to appease the music industry.  By the time these measures have failed, there will be a different mob in power.

yeah, I think the music industry also need to wake up and smell the new technologies. I'm sure they could make cash in different ways... if only cds/dvds/the cinema wasn't so expensive.

I don't even think CDs and DVDs are that expensive now. You can get CDs in the supermarkets due under 8 quid, and DVDs for under a tenner, which is cheaper than a couple going to the cinema.  :)

yeah, true I guess its not so bad - but is the new releases that I think are extortionate - and those are the films/cds that people download.
