CSS Image Maps

Earlier today I was asked to add an image with floating text to the [FAS] website. It's been a while since I had todo any proper CSS and so quite eager to give it ago. It turns out that what I needed to do is fairly simple.

example of the output: http://fedastro.org.uk/fas/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=96&Itemid=87

That's excellent Sam.  Very clean looking website.  Do you have any involvement with the FAS these days apart from rescuing their website?

not much. I'm probably the first person to reply to most of the email discussions.. but apart from that all I really do is the webpages. I want to work further on the webpages... but not getting time / not necessarily having input of people slows it all down.

I need to update the design a bit as its a bit too bland.

It was designed in the nineties so it's about time!    ::)

well the current page is a bit more modern than that but still needs a proper facelift. I took the awful blue banner image, which was designed in paint off and I got moaned at!
