It's a good film, but I'm not sure it deserves to be.  Now, Carry On Camping...  ;) ;D

28 days later is the best in a genre.. still I'm not sure it would be in my top 10.. still it beats all of the films I recognise in the top 20.

Oh, it was a great film, just perhaps not an all time great.  If I had one complaint, it would be the fast cutting during the zombie attacks, so you couldn't really see the real gore!  ;D

No Ice Cold In Alex, The Cruel Sea, Made In Dagenham or Truly Madly Deeply?  The list has some serious flaws.  As for Don't Look Now being top of the pile, I found it turgid.

I saw The Black Swan tonight.  Despite being a bit slow to get going, it's very good indeed.  I'd be surprised if Natalie Portman doesn't pick up a raft of well-earned awards for her performance.  I saw The King's Speech a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed that too, even if it wasn't really my cup of tea.  Helena Bonham Carter stole every scene she was in, despite strong performances from Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush.
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is readily adopted.
