One for Clive... A trip out to Lords Bridge
« on: October 14, 2011, 13:24 »
I thought Clive would enjoy some pics of the wonderful Lords Bridge - I went out there yesterday for the first time - was pretty amazing seeing all the different receivers.  http://www.krioma.net/blog/2011/10/a_trip_out_to_lords_bridge.php

Nice pics Sam!  It's good to see Mullard being put to good use.  I always enjoyed seeing the field full of antennae when I was visiting the IoA.

AMI is a pretty cool instrument - really does look like something from sci-fi with the ground plate

No, I'm still babysitting in London.  So close really but I think my 3 year old grandson may get a bit restless during the talks.     I even had to miss my own society talk on my favourite topic - comets -tonight by Bob Owens which I had commissioned!  :(
