Some friends of mine had a call from these scammers. Fortunately, they had the sense to hang up before inflicting any damage to their computer.

Me too. I kept one going for a whole hour before getting sprung by Mrs Clive. He was very upset with me for wasting so much of his time.

Yes, but in my case who was the victim? It could cost me a fortune!

Ive had a few of these calls, and the last one I told him to F off, upon which he told me to F off!!! I was fuming and told him exactly what he was-I dont think the Race Relations Board would have approved of me!!
Ive since had all International calls blocked-no problem now!

Does that include all calls from the mainland, DG?

The great thing is that the callers have absolutely no sense of humour and are therefore easy to wind up. It's always more fun when Mrs Clive is out.

Lol- No Ive got a gadget that I have installed that I can programme to block what I want. Ive got it set to International calls and if I get one of those PPI calls I press a button and that stops that number from getting through again. Sheer bliss!!
